AHILNA: OUR PEOPLE

Supporting the Orphaned Children of Palestine

Children of Al-Wafaa Village are orphaned and surviving genocide, but within their community they benefit from art therapy, counseling, and recreational activities that help them overcome the trauma of war.

Al-Wafaa Village, founded by Wafaa Abo Jalala, offers children in Gaza healing and hope. Surrounded by colorful settings, the village is a refuge for those who have lost everything.

Al-Wafaa village is a shelter and a small piece of hope for orphaned children amid destruction and loss. The village is a space that gives children a reprieve and psychological support in the harshest of conditions.
